As life takes its twists and turns, there comes a time when we find ourselves at a crossroads, faced with the decision to embark on a new chapter.
For me, that moment arrived when I made the decision to relocate to Massachusetts, leaving behind the familiar landscapes of Colorado to be closer to family, particularly my beloved grandkids. This journey has been a tapestry woven with threads of nostalgia, love, and the anticipation of new beginnings.
The decision to move was not made lightly. With four grandchildren—two boys and two girls—waiting for me in Massachusetts, I knew that being near them was a priceless gift. Having grown up with little contact with my own grandparents, I understood the significance of being present in their lives, of being the grandparent I wished I had growing up.
Yet, as I packed up my belongings and bid farewell to the place I called home for 51 years, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia for the rugged beauty of Colorado. Its majestic mountains, sprawling plains, and endless skies had been the backdrop to countless memories and milestones.
To bridge the gap between my past and present, I curated a collection of images that captured the essence of my Colorado experience.
