Arizona – a land of stark contrasts, where the heat of the desert sun meets the breathtaking beauty of its rugged landscapes.

It’s a place that has a way of both challenging and inspiring those who venture into its embrace. And for me, Arizona holds a special significance, as it was here that I embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery.

In 2010, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The news was devastating, but I refused to let it define me. Determined to fight back against the disease, I sought out alternative methods of healing to complement my traditional treatments.

One such method led me to Cottonwood, Arizona, home to the LIFEVESSEL – an alternative health device known for its rejuvenating and relaxing properties. Despite my initial skepticism, I felt compelled to give it a try, hoping that it would provide some much-needed relief from the stress and anxiety that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.

So, I hopped on my motorcycle and embarked on a 1600-mile Round trip journey through the Arizona desert. The dry heat and striking beauty of the landscape served as a powerful backdrop to my journey, reminding me of the resilience and beauty of life even in the face of adversity.

Arriving in Cottonwood, I was greeted by the warmth and hospitality of the locals, who welcomed me with open arms. And as I settled into the LIFEVESSEL for my sessions, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, easing the tension in my body and soothing my troubled mind.

The trip was a success in more ways than one. Not only did I get to experience the healing power of the LIFEVESSEL, but I also had the opportunity to clear my mind and rejuvenate my spirit amidst the stunning beauty of the Arizona desert.

Upon my return to Boulder, I faced my treatments of radiation and chemotherapy with renewed optimism and strength. And as the years passed, I defied the odds, surpassing the oncologist’s initial prognosis by far.

The pictures captured during that trip serve as a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the healing power of nature. They are a testament to the strength and determination that carried me through some of the darkest moments of my life.

In the end, my journey to Cottonwood, Arizona, was about more than just seeking alternative methods of healing – it was about reclaiming my life and finding hope in the face of adversity. And for that, I will be forever grateful
